- Statement of Need RFQ Outdoor Fitness Equipment This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation document will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ); solicitation/reference number is F1N3MA5180AW01. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-83 effective 03 Aug 2015. This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-aside. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 339920 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. Columbus Air Force Base has a need for one outdoor fitness system. The following salient characteristics must be considered in or equal product: weather tough for outdoor conditions and coated with Polyurea for durability, insulated to protect against high heat, support more than one user at a time, one unit not spread throughout the park but in one area, customizable for additional sections to be added post purchase, provide the monkey bridge, pull up bar, adjustable dip station, gymnastic rings, climbing rope, medicine ball target x 3, sit up bench, and battle ropes, use galvanized steel tubing, group functional as well as individual for fitness workouts, allows the use of body weight, high intensity interval, and strength training. Vendor shall deliver the outdoor fitness equipment to Columbus AFB, MS Freedom Park, near building 704, 829 Simler Blvd. and shall install a turnkey complete system. Vendor shall also provide a one year repair/replacement warranty and lifetime frame. IAW FAR 52.232-18, Availability of Funds; Funds are currently not available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs.
