- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This notice is being posted as an avenue to provide Request for Quotes, W912PM-15-T-0044. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.202(a)(13), exceptions to publicizing contract actions, there will not be a pre-solicitation notice posted for this required action. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information in this notice. This announcement only constitutes the solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is an unrestricted buy solicited under NAICS 336611. Consideration will be given to small business vendor's quotes received that are technically acceptable. This solicitation number is W912PM-15-T-0044, and the solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-83. 1.) Description of Requirement: The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, and services, to provide (2) Brand name Eaton Model 53 BTX Ball Type Duplex Basket Strainers, Overhaul Kits and Spare Baskets for delivery to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Wilmington District, Engineer Repair Yard in Wilmington North Carolina. 2.) SPECIFICATIONS: Provide the following brand name parts required for replacement of (2) Basket Strainers aboard the Dredge 'Murden'. *Shipping cost shall be included in the contract quote.
