Description

This is a pre-solicitation notice for Department of Veteran's Affairs, NCO 19, to obtain Fire Protection Services for the Sheridan VA Health Care System (SVAHCS), Sheridan Wyoming. The location for these services is 1898 Fort Road, Sheridan, WY 82801. The Contractor shall provide fire protection services to the SVAHCS twenty four (24) hours a day / seven (7) days a week, including holidays. The fire protection services shall cover all buildings owned by the SVAHCS as well as equipment and material located therein. The Contractor shall respond from a fire department located no further four (4) miles from the SVAHCS campus. All responses shall be in accordance with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1901. The Contractor shall take appropriate actions to suppress any fire and perform rescue associated with these fires. The services performed must meet the qualifications in accordance with (IAW) all applicable Department of Veteran Affairs (DOVA) regulations and policies. The contract start date is anticipated to be 1 Oct 2015 with a base year and 4 one year options. The North American Industrial Classification System Code is 922160. The entire solicitation will be made available only on the Federal Business Opportunities website http://www.fbo.gov on approximately 4 Sep 2015. No paper copies will be issued. Award will be made based on Best Value utilizing Technical Evaluations. The contractor's proposal shall include a price section and a technical section, and must conform to the instructions contained within each section. All non-price factors will be evaluated on a grading scale provided in the upcoming RFP. Each CLIN in the pricing proposal must be priced. The Government reserves the right to award without discussions. If the Government decides to award with discussions, you will be notified as soon as possible, and asked to provide additional information. To be eligible for contract award, offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). This NOT Set-Aside. All responsible parties may submit a proposal to be considered. Additionally, the Government will not reimburse any interested parties for monies spent to provide a response to the subsequent solicitation notice.
