Description
THIS IS A NOTICE OF INENT ONLY AND NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers intends to award a sole source contract to the following: KDL Solutions, LLC P.O. 15009, Hattiesburg, MS 39404 under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1). Posting of this Special Notice is in accordance with FAR 13.501(a)(iii). The intended award will follow policies and procedures set forth in FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers requires Advanced Law Enforcement Rapid Response Training (ALERRT) active shooter training kits for active shooter training program that contain miscellaneous commercial item supplies pre-assembled in 7 cases and supplemented with customized resupply kits. KDL Solutions is the only company that has worked with the ALERRT program and met Department of Homeland Security grant funding guidelines and the ALERRT. KDL Solutions kits were designed specifically to meet all ALLERRT Training goals and objectives and therefore are the only vendor capable of providing the necessary Active Shooter training kits. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineer intends to issue a firm-fixed price purchase order on or about September 16, 2015 to KDL Solutions, LLC. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement by written response by 10:00 AM (PST) on September 09, 2015 via email to Antoinette.c.allen@usace.army.mil. Reference - Active Shooter Training Kits. Capability statements must contain sufficient details that clearly demonstrate the contractor's capabilities and the ability to comply with above requirement. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
