Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation # VA119A-16-Q-0279 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This solicitation is being conducted under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP), and FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial services. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-53 effective August 4, 2011. The NAICS Code is 335312 Motor and Generator Manufacturing. The Small Business size is 1000 employees. The Government intends to award one Firm Fixed Price contract 100% Small Business set aside basis for emergency generator services to the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable Quoter to acquire emergency generator services in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS).
