Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W91ZRS-15-Q-A003 and is issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ). The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns. NAICS code is 332999, with size standard of 750. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-83. The Connecticut Army National Guard Combined Support Maintenance Shop has a requirement for a Bullet Trap and Target Track Retrieval System that will allow the stoppage or capture of bullets for their indoor test fire range. The system must be capable of stopping or trapping up to a 50 caliber round and down to a 9MM round. The range will experience intermittent use, on average once a week. The CSMS indoor test fire range requires a target system for a 25 meter range with a retrievable overheard target system. The system should include a local control panel to operate the system. The quote bullet trap/ absorption system and target system should include installation of the products along with the design service, commissioning and training. The range has been constructed including the baffles. The bullet trap and target system will be installed to meet the size requirements of the range on the attached specifications. All interested, responsive, and responsible contractors are encouraged to submit proposals by submitting a response via e-mail to Fabiola Arango, Contract Specialist at Fabiola.arango.mil@mail.mil no later than 11:00am EST, TUE 8 SEPTEMBER, 2015. Delivery/installation date shall be within 120 days of receipt of order. Descriptive literature is required with your offer. Descriptive literature must be of the type and detail sufficient to allow for a determination of compliance with the solicitation, evaluation of equality with the specified product, the terms of any expressed warranty, price and delivery times. Award will be made to the lowest price technically acceptable offeror.
