- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. SITE VISIT - Fort Shafter, Hawaii Date Time: Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at 10:00a.m. Hawaii Standard Time RSVP no later than: Monday, August 24, 2015 at 3:00p.m. Hawaii Standard Time. The purpose of this site visit is to provide clarity on any question that may arise for this requirement. Offerors and/or representatives are encouraged to attend the site visit. If you are interested in attending, submit all attendee's names, email addresses, cell phone and work telephone numbers to kelvin.n.aiken.mil@mail.mil no later than 3:00p.m. Hawaii Standard Time on Thursday, August 24,2015. If no interest is received by this time, the Government will cancel the planned site visit. If cancelled, no other site visit will be scheduled. Attendance constitutes agreement to release the Government of liabilities due to any accidents or injury occurring during the site visit. Any discussions, remarks, and explanations that may be made by any Government representative during the site visit will not change the terms of the solicitation and the technical specifications unless the solicitation is amended in writing. Ensure business representative arrives with the appropriate measuring tools to take measurements of rooms. DIRECTIONS TO Fort Shafter meeting area 1) Enter Main Entrance (Buckner Gate) 2) Continue on Funston Road. You will come to a 4-way stop. 3) Cross Intersection- make a right at the intersection and BLDG 525 will be on the right after pierce street. 4) Meeting area is located at 8TH TSC Headquarters BLDG 525. See attached map. NOTE: WE WILL BEGIN AT BLDG 525 AND MOVE TO BLDG T-320 UPON COMPLETION. All questions must be address via email. Point of contract for this procurement is SSG Kelvin Aiken at kelvin.n.aiken.mil@mail.mil. INSTRUCTION TO OFFERERS Offerors are required to submit a formal letter from the Manufacturer on the Manufacturers letterhead. The letter shall contain: 1) the authorized sales representatives (name of individual and company) of the Manufacturer, 2) acknowledgement from the Manufacturer that they are aware that the above named representative is also representing other manufacturers, 3) that the above named sales representative is authorized to act on behalf of the manufacturer on this solicitation, and 4) a point of contact of the Manufacturer.
