Description
USCGC GEORGE COBB (WLM 175) DRY DOCK REPAIRS The United States Coast Guard is considering whether or not to set-aside this acquisition for HUBZone, 8(a) Small Business, Small Disadvantage Business, Women Owned Small Business, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, or Small Business firms. The small business size standard for NAICS 336611, and has less than 1,000 employees. The acquisition is to perform dry dock repairs to the USCGC GEORGE COBB (WLM 175), coastal buoy tender. The vessel's home port is in San Pedro, CA. All work will be performed at the contractor's facility that is within a geographical restriction of United States West Coast San Francisco Bay and South. The performance period is anticipated to be 70 calendar days with a start date of 06 January 2016 and completion on 16 March 2016. The scope of the acquisition is for the repairing of various items aboard the USCGC GEORGE COBB (WLM 175). This work will include, but is not limited to: 1. Hull Plating (U/W Body), Inspect 2. The Government requests capability statements and comments from interest businesses regarding the work items described above. Responsible sources are encouraged to submit a response to this notice with a statement of interest on company letter. At a minimum, please include the following: 1. Evidence of experience in work similar in type and scope to include contract numbers, project titles, dollar amounts, point of contacts and telephone numbers. 2.
