Description
General Services Administration (GSA) seeks to lease the following space: State:MA City:Springfield Delineated Area:The City of Springfield, Massachusetts Minimum Sq. Ft. (ABOA):12,206 Maximum Sq. Ft. (ABOA):12,816 Space Type:Class A Office Parking Spaces (Total):8 Parking Spaces (Surface):0 Parking Spaces (Structured):0 Parking Spaces (Reserved):8 Full Term:10 years Firm Term:5 years Option Term:N/A Additional Requirements:-Access to the building 24 hours per day, 7 days a week, and 365 days per year. -Space must have potential for an efficient layout. Ideal space would be contiguous and on one level, but a maximum of 2 levels could be an option as long as the space still provides an efficient layout. Approximately 3,500 SF could be located on a separate level. -Space should be located in a professional office setting and shall not be in the vicinity of residential areas, schools, parks or churches. -The Government requires a fully serviced lease, inclusive of 8 reserved and secured parking spaces and additional as required by local code. -Space above ground level requires at least two elevators with access to the premises. -At least three (3) distinctive entrances into the space are required. This may be accommodated for off of a common hallway. Offered space must meet Government requirements for fire safety, accessibility, seismic and sustainability standards per the terms of the Lease. A fully serviced lease is required. Offered space shall not be in the 100 year flood plain. The U.S. Government currently occupies office and related space in a building under lease in Springfield, MA that will be expiring. The Government is considering alternative space if economically advantageous. In making this determination, the Government, will consider, among other things, the availability of alternative space that potentially can satisfy the Government's requirements, as well as costs likely to be incurred through relocating, such as physical move costs, replication of tenant improvements and telecommunication infrastructure, and non-productive agency downtime.
