Description
Sole Source - SIMS Software - Acquisition of Security Information Management System (SIM) software (licenses, installation, training and first year maintenance) REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) This Request for Information (RFI) is for planning purposes only and is NOT a Request for Proposal (RFP), Invitation for Bid (IFB) or an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any services. Responses to this RFI are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. The Government reserves the right to determine how it should proceed as a result of this notice. Furthermore, those who respond to this RFI should not anticipate feedback with regard to its submission. The Government will not pay any cost incurred in response to this RFI. All costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the responding party's expense. The information provided in this RFI is subject to change and is not binding on the Government. The purpose of this request is to obtain information on potential sources that can provide the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) with Security Information Management System (SIMS) software. This acquisition is for the acquisition of licenses, installation, training, and first year maintenance of the SIMS. SIMS security management software will be used to consolidate various applications and functions within the Security and Cybersecurity Branches and satisfies all administrative requirements of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) plus Special Access Programs. Consolidation is required in order to achieve the monitoring, analysis and reporting capabilities requires by Executive Order 13587 for Insider Threat. The Government request the ENTIRE suite (all or none), which includes the brand name of which SIMS Software which is the sole and exclusive owner. Please provide a response only if you can provide ALL services.
