Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation VA119A-15-Q-0216 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This solicitation is being conducted under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP), and FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial items. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-53 effective August 4, 2011. The NAICS Code is 332994 "Small Arms, Ordnance and Accessories Manufacturing". The Small Business size standard is 1000 employees. This requirement is a Brand name, Firm Fixed Price 100 % Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business set-aside and only qualified offerors may submit quotes.
