- The Contracting Department, Naval Special Warfare Command (NSWC) intends to award a Sole Source, Firm Fixed-Price Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to United States Marine, Inc. (USMI), 10011 Lorraine Road, Gulfport, MS 39503-6001using the procedures under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Subpart 13.5, Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items. This requirement is to acquire labor, supplies, equipment, management, supervision, and reports necessary for the routine maintenance, sustainment, emergent repair, and upgrade services for the NSW 11M Rigid Inflatable Boat (RIB) craft as required by Special Boat Team TWENTY-TWO (SBT-22) in Gulfport, MS. The anticipated award will be a five (5) year ordering period with a maximum ordering value of $2.0 million over the life of the contract. The anticipated date of the award and start date is on or about 15 October 2015. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive quotations; however, all responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. A complete RFQ package (H92240-15-T-0106) will be available on or about 11 September 2015, by downloading the documents at the Federal Business Opportunities Website as follows: https://www.FBO.gov. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 336611. Potential contractors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the above site; there will be no hard copy solicitation. By submitting a quote, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the quote. By submission of a quote, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the SAM database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make a contractor ineligible for award. Contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements at http://www.sam.gov.
