- AMENDMENT NOTICE:This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.The solicitation number is F8WGAB5164A001 and is issued as an invitation for bids (IFB), unless otherwise indicated herein.The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-84. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 332216 with a small business size standard of 500.00 employees.This requirement is a [ Small Business ] set-aside and only qualified offerors may submit bids.The solicitation pricing on www.FedBid.com will start on the date this solicitation is posted and will end on 2015-09-15 16:30:00.0 Eastern Time or as otherwise displayed at www.FedBid.com.FOB Destination shall be Garden City, GA 31409 The National Guard - Georgia requires the following items, Meet or Exceed, to the following: LI 001: SSSSL3P: TC MAX License with one (1)year support.Tool control software and asset inventory control system compatible with USAF desktop image and Air Force ID card barcodes. Capable of printing Air Force Forms and separating shop codes.Should be comparable to the standard software currently in use by ANG, PACAF,ACC,AMC,AFRC, and AFSOC for user interface and operability functions., 3, EA; LI 002: SSPWRSCN: Datalogic Wireless 1-D Barcode Scanner with keypad., 3, EA; LI 003: SSSLBLPRT12: Brother PT9700PC Barcode Label Printer with 5 rolls of TZS Tape 1/2 inch., 1, EA; LI 004: Toolset with box that meets same quality and tools included in Snap-On Part Number 9300GSBO Or Equal, 2, EA; LI 005: Tools should be of professional grade and have a life time warranty. (See attached tool listing for this line item requirement). Tools should come in one 54 box. Tools will come etched with a 9 digit number that we provide. The nine digit number should be the same on every tool. No sequential numbering required. Control of boxes must be compatible with the Snap-On TCMax Tool Control System already in use. The box should have the following features: - User-friendly design - Advanced digital imaging technology and proprietary software - Should automatically keep inventory by user and tool - Should be able to add additional tools regardless of make and/or model - Should have scanning hardware and capability - Automatic scanning as drawer is opened or closed - Able to identify and remove tools for sign out listing when returned - Able to identify tools removed or replaced by automated announcement - Identify tool location by user and part number through the on-board Computer - Store at minimum the last 10,000 transactions - Multiple tool scanning capability without scanning tools individually - Should not require RFID tags - Tool size should only be limited to the drawer - Touch Screen capability (Intuitive interface) - Automatic Locking capability - Verbal announcement of tools displayed incorrectly or put in the wrong location Tool Box must include software and training. Etching (9digit number)must be done on all tools unless determined to be too small to etch per AFI 21-101. Tool Box should have caster wheel and yellow in design with an 6 drawer set unless tools warrant another design. Power source will be 110v. User capability should be controlled by card designed to swipe and have capability to manage over a 100 users. Tool box should come with at least a three year warrant. All tools included in this box will be foam lined to work with automatic detection system and should be two color in design. Box must have the ability to be secured. Scanner only for ATC 212.50, must include all required tools., 1, EA; Solicitation and Buy Attachments ***Question Submission: Interested offerors must submit any questions concerning the solicitation at the earliest time possible to enable the Buyer to respond. Questions not received within a reasonable time prior to close of the solicitation may not be considered.*** For this solicitation, National Guard - Georgia intends to conduct an online competitive reverse auction to be facilitated by the third-party reverse auction provider, FedBid, Inc. FedBid has developed an online, anonymous, browser based application to conduct the reverse auction. An Offeror may submit a series of pricing bids, which descend in price during the specified period of time for the aforementioned reverse auction. National Guard - Georgia is taking this action in an effort to improve both vendor access and awareness of requests and the agency's ability to gather multiple, competed, real-time bids.All responsible Offerors that respond to this solicitation MUST submit the pricing portion of their bid using the online exchange located at www.FedBid.com. There is no cost to register, review procurement data or make a bid on www.FedBid.com.Offerors that are not currently registered to use www.FedBid.com should proceed to www.FedBid.com to complete their free registration.
