- Single Source Justification The 338 Specialized Contracting Squadron at JBSA-Randolph AFB, TX, hereby gives notice to award a sole source contract to FLIR Detection, Inc., 1024 S Innovation Way, Stillwater, OK, 74074-1508 as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR Part 13.106-1(b) - Soliciting From A Single Source, "Contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available". This is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation is available. The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price, sole source contract to FLIR Integrated Solutions for a maintenance plan for the Skywatch tactical security tower at Vance AFB. FLIR Integrated Solutions has the proprietary rights to and are the sole source manufacturer and distributor of the equipment. The North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 811310 and the size standard is $7.5M. See attached redacted sole source justification.
