- Description
- Solicitation VA119-15-R-0362 is hereby amended to incorporate the following questions and answers: Question 1) Do you want pricing responses by volume or by device? Answer 1) Pricing responses can be either by volume or by device. We recognize that contractors utilize different pricing models and have seen both offered. Either method is acceptable. Question 2) Are all locations on the same LAN? If not, how many LANs are there? (will we be able to deploy a VISN-wide solution with one server that all sites have access to or do we need to put individual servers at multiple locations) Answer 2) The locations are not on the same LAN, but all sites will have network access to a server at a single location. We have deployed a number of solutions using this approach. Question 3) Are you identifying 7 locations each with multiple sites that would be utilizing an Enterprise Network Solution? In other words one instance of DoseWise Portal for the entire VISN 23 but with multiple locations identified within the portal? If so, would the VISN 23 as a whole be able to access over an enterprise wide network the DoseWise Portal Solution that would be in a central location (i.e. VISN 23 data center)? Answer 3) We are seeking a solution in a central location (not 7 locations). The locations are not on the same LAN, but all sites will have network access to a server at a single location. Question 4) In the SOW is a listing of your locations identified as Med Center's and Affiliated CBOC's. Under each location you have physical addresses (sites) identified. From this SOW are you asking for a separate instance of Software per Med Center/ CBOC location? If so that would be 7 separate instances of DoseWise Portal? Answer 4) We are seeking a centralized solution, not 7 separate instances of the DoseWise Portal. The CBOCs will also have network connectivity to the VISN 23 data center. The NAICS code listed in the General Information on Federal Business Opportunities differed from the NAICS code listed in the notice. The correct NAICS code for this requirement is 334519, as listed in combined synopsis/solicitation.
