- RFQ Revision 0002 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The MICC Fort Carson Contracting Office is issuing a solicitation for a requirement to perform Forest Stand Examination Data Collection Activities on Fort Carson, Colorado. The result of this RFQ will be a Firm-Fixed Price contract with an anticipated award date of September 2015. The Government intends to award a single contract. The closing date and time for submission of offers will be contained in the RFQ package. The period of performance is estimated to be a base period of six months only. The requirement is 100% set-aside for Small Businesses. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 115310 with a size standard of $7.5M. All prospective offerors must have a Commercial and Government Entity Code (CAGE Code) and be actively registered in System for Award Management (SAM) database or their proposal will not be considered. Contractors can obtain further information on the SAM website at https://www.sam.gov. This requirement consists of conducting Forest Stand Examination Data Collection for 900 plots as outlined in the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS). Amendment 0002 is issued to change the solicitation provision 52.212-2(a)(iv)(1) Basis for Award, Past performance: remove the words "Shoot House" and replace with "Forest Stand Examination Data Collection".
