- Amendment 0001: The purpose of this amendment is to answer solicitation questions as follows: Q1. The manlift basket is to be equipped with a swinging gate not a lift bar and also the work tray item 401 (see illustration at the end of the specification)." I do not see an illustration anywhere on this solicitation. Can you please send me a copy of the illustration to confirm the end user is asking for the standard Tool Tray option that JLG offers on their boom lifts? A1. Please see Attachments section for illustration. Q2. CLIN 0002 M450AJ asks for a 2 person basket. JLG offers the following standard size basket on NEW boom lifts: Platform 30 x 60 in. (.76 x 1.52 m) Side Entry w/ swing gate. Would the Navy find this acceptable as a 2 person basket? A2. The Navy would find this example acceptable as a 2 person basket. Q3. CLIN 0004 - 80' boom lift, JLG 860SJ asks for an 860SJ boom lift however the Navy has the following verbiage within their spec description: "The manlift shall be a self-propelled hydraulic boom lift with a nominal 80 ft platform height." Since the Navy only ask for 80' platform height and nowhere do they ask for a 6' jib, Does this mean that they would accept a JLG800S or do you want the JLG860SJ? A3. The 860SJ is what the Government is requesting. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged and in full effect. The date/time for receipt of quotes has not changed. Amendment 0002: The purpose of this amendment is to extend the quote response date to 15 September 2015 at 2:00 pm EST. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged and in full effect.
