- Brand Name Justification-Scan-X Scout X-Ray Equipment Scan-X Scout X-Ray Equipment RFI This is a solicitation for commercial items; the purchase of one (1) Scan-X Scout X-Ray and corresponding equipment prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Information is being requested and a written solicitation is attached, all responsible sources may submit information which shall be considered by the agency. IAW 52.232-18; funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer. This solicitation will be evaluated and awarded per the prescribed procedures of FAR Part 13.5, Simplified Acquisition Procedures for Commercial Items. The solicitation number for this procurement is FA4803-15-Q-A122 and is issued as a Request for Information (RFI). The information submitted shall contain any documentation specified herein to include all information as stated in the clauses 52.212-1 & 52.212-2. Information is to be received no later than 2:00pm EST, 16 September 2015. Information can be emailed to 2LT Alexander S.
