- This is a Notice of Intent of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Memphis District to negotiate a sole source award with Greenbrier Wetland Services (GWS), RT2 Box 2735, Advance, MO 63730-9418. The NAICS code is 541690. The estimated value of the work is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00 This follow-on contract action is being accomplished under the authority of FAR Part 13.106(b)(1)(i) Soliciting from a single source (1) For purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold (i) Contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available (e.g. urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand-name or industrial mobilization). Scope of Work: The USACE, Memphis District, intends to revisit all of the original 250 forest plots measured in September 2008 and collect the same data as in the original baseline sampling. This revisit of baseline plots meets protocols and objectives originally agreed upon for the previously referenced Section 7 Consultation and adaptive management evaluation of the Grand Prairie Demonstration Area project. Tasks include: 1) Locate and remark all original 250 baseline forest plots; 2) Collect data for the above 8 sector data categories similar to that conducted in September 2008; 3) Record, collate, and provide tabular data for all information collected; 4) Document and evaluate any changes in forest plot data relative to individual plots, plot clusters, and Treatment vs. Control areas, and 5) Provide a written report to the USACE and multi-agency partners for the 2015 sampling.
