- 1. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 - Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement and attachments constitutes the only solicitation. The solicitation number for this procurement is W56HZV-15-Q-0037, and this is a Request for Quote. 2. The solicitation is being issued under the authority of FAR Subpart 12 -This solicitation is a Request for Quote (RFQ). 3. This requirement is limited to Victaulic of America and authorized distributors. The solicitation shall incorporate provisions and clauses as shown in the attached solicitation W56HZV-15-Q-0037. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 332911 Industrial Valve manufacturing. The Government contemplates award of a Firm-Fixed Price type contract. 4. Request Offerors submit a proposal for the following items: SLIN 0001AA Style 485, (MFG PART#C060485ATO), 6" Cam Locking Hose Shank, Qty.: 218 EA SLIN 0002AA Style 486, (MFG PART#C060486ATO), 6" Cam Locking Hose Shank, Qty.: 152 EA SLIN 0003AA Shipping/Freight, Qty.: 1 LO 5. SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS The contractor shall perform the requirements identified in the attached solicitation W56HZV-15-Q-0037. EVALUATION CRITERIA AND BASIS FOR AWARD 6. The evaluation criteria and basis for award is as shown in the attached solicitation W56HZV-15-Q-0037. 7. Delivery: All items shall be delivered in accordance with the requirements of solicitation W56HZV-15-Q-0037. 8. IMPORTANT NOTICES: a) RFP submission must be in accordance with solicitation; b) All Amendments, if applicable, must be acknowledged; c) Questions concerning this notice should be submitted to the Points of contact as indicated in this announcement. 9. INSTRUCTIONS to OFFERORS: Vendors who are not registered in the System for Award Management (SAM), www.sam.gov, database prior to award will not be considered. Vendors may register with SAM online at the website link provided. 10. Proposals shall be submitted as stated in solicitation W56HZV-15-Q-0037.
