PRE-AWARD PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT-COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION Purpose of Announcement: The Federal Aviation Administration Plans and Programs Branch (AMA-520) has a brand name mandatory requirement for Herman Miller Aeron High Back Instructor Stools. No equivalents permitted. The NAICS code for this effort is 337214 for "Office Furniture Manufacturing". This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and econoically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts.
