- This is a Foreign Military Sale and this notice is provided for informational purposes only. The United States Army intends to solicit and award a single, firm fixed price contract, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements to Datron World Communications, 3055 Enterprise Ct, Vista, CA 92081. The Government intends to procure radios, ancillary equipment and field service representation. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The synopsis is not a request for proposals. Request for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
