Description

This is a pre-solicitation notice only. No quotes are being requested or accepted with this notice. This notice shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The VA, Veterans Integrated Services Network 8 (VISN 8), has a requirement for warehouse management services. Contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, equipment, services and supervision required to render a complete Warehouse Manage System (WMS). Responsible for the pick-up, storage and distribution of Medical/Surgical supplies in support of VISN 8 Healthcare facilities: James A. Haley VA Healthcare System (Tampa, FL), Bay Pines VA Healthcare System (Bay Pines, FL), Orlando VA Medical Center (Orlando, FL) and North Florida/South Georgia VA Healthcare System (FL and GA). Contractor shall provide complete storage space for an average of 290 pallets, with expansion capabilities up to a maximum of 700 pallets, of Medical/Surgical supplies. The VA anticipates awarding one firm-fixed price requirements contract, for a base period of one year and four option periods of one year. Solicitation documents are anticipated to be available o/a 12 September 2015 and will be posted via the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website.
