- The Army Contracting Command, Rock Island (ACC-RI) is released a solicitation for a single Firm Fixed Price (FFP) type contract for the procurement of Front Sight Forgings in support of the Rock Island Arsenal, Joint Manufacturing and Technology Center (RIA-JMTC). This requirement is for 1,575 each in accordance with drawing 8448643 Rev M. Contractor will be required to submit 5 pieces each for First Article Testing. This solicitation is not set aside and is being competed unrestricted as full and open competition. Estimated Solicitation Release Date: 13 August 2015 Estimated Solicitation Response Date: 18 September 2015 (per Amendment 0001) This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502, therefore, hard copies will not be provided. Vendors wishing to obtain an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the Federal Business Opportunities Website at fbo.gov. All dates in this announcement are estimates and are subject to change. Note: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation, and is in fact, unable to maintain an offeror's mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above Internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for receipt of proposals may render your proposal non-responsive and result in the rejection of the same. Al responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the Government. Request that all inquiries be in writing only.
