Description
Note: In order to quote for this requirement, interested parties must be currently approved by a U.S. Government Veterinary Food Inspection Specialist. The U.S. Government requires logistical support services with the preparation, delivery of a breakfast and dinner meal service at one location for the number of days indicated in Table 1 below. The Contractor shall meet with the COR to refine the location and schedule of the services to be provided. The services required are further outlined below: Specific Requirements. The Contractor shall provide a breakfast and dinner meal service for personnel (as specified in table below) in Douala Cameroon. All meal services shall be provided in accordance with Table 1. Any additional specific meal requirements (i.e. vegetarian or Halal) will be handled on a case-by-case basis. The contractor shall allow full access to the kitchen, food storage/preparation, and file management to Preventative medicine and veterinarian personnel and shall meet the standard health requirements stipulated below. The Contractor shall furnish all management supervision personnel, training, equipment, material, supplies, and any other equipment and personnel to accomplish the requirement of providing meal service specified herein except as specified as Government furnished. Services shall be provided during the hours and days specified herein. The contractor shall provide delivery of meal service, and removal of waste and trash each day as specified in Table 1. Period of Performance: 15 September 2015 to 15 March 2016 Location of Service: The general location of breakfast and dinner meal service is Douala Cameroon Defense Force Engineer Base and the exact location of delivery and service of meals will be coordinated with the COR. Contract Deliverables. The contractor shall provide all reports in English to the COR. Service Orders: The Contractor shall receive service calls from the COR via cellular phone when required. The contractor shall provide a trouble call telephone number and alternate call number available for off-peak hours during the period of the contract. Breakfast Meal: The contractor shall ensure that the breakfast meal is delivered to Douala Cameroon Defense Force Engineer Base and ready for service to event participants at 0630 each day as specified in Table 1. Meal service shall be provided until 0800 each day as specified in Table 1. The first breakfast meal shall be on 16 September 2015. The meal shall be served at a location within the training area to be coordinated by the COR. Meal service hours shall be flexible to accommodate all personnel. Deviation from the above times requires the approval of the Contracting Officer (KO). Breakfast meal shall be served buffet style by contractor staff and include, at a minimum, pasteurized fruit juices, scrambled and hard-boiled eggs, sausages, bacon, baked or fried potato products, oatmeal, assorted bread products with butter and jams, assorted cereals, seasonal fruits (cleaned in a 50 ppm bleach solution), yogurt, bottled water, coffee and tea. The Contractor shall generate a rotational menu for approval by the COR to ensure variety among the meals served. Local area foods may be substituted for the above items with the approval of the COR. Dinner Meal: The dinner meal service shall be delivered to Douala Cameroon Defense Force Engineer Base and ready for service to event participants at 1730 each day as specified in Table 1. Meal service shall be provided until 1900 each day as specified in Table 1. The first dinner meal shall be on 15 September 2015. The meal shall be served at a location within the training area to be coordinated by the COR. Meal service hours shall be flexible to accommodate all personnel. Deviation from the above times requires the approval of the Contracting Officer (KO). Dinner meals shall be served buffet style by contractor staff and consist of, at a minimum, salad (cleaned in a 50 ppm bleach solution) with at least three (3) dressing choices, a main dish (at least three choices shall be available from the beef, poultry, and fish groups), assorted vegetables, potatoes, rice and/or pasta, seasonal fruits (cleaned in a 50 ppm bleach solution), bread or rolls with butter, and dessert, and bottled water, coffee and tea. The Contractor shall generate a rotational menu for approval by the COR to ensure variety among the meals served. Local area foods may be substituted for the above items with the approval of the COR.
