Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy, Network Contracting Office 15 inends to award a Firm-Fixed Price sole source commercial single award contract in accordance with FAR Part 8.405-6 (b). The North America Industry Classification System Code [NAICS] is 322220 and size standard is 500 Employees. The Government has determined that TIMEMED LABELING SYSTEMS, INC. is the only company that can provide the requested emergency order for newly designed patient centric labels. TIMEMED LABELING SYSTEMS, INC. is the only company that can provide these highly specialized labels immediately, at the level of quality required, and within the newly modified specifications. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation will be made available. Any responses received will only be considered for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in lieu of sole source contract described in this notice in non-emergency situations, and such determination shall be made at the sole discretion of the Government. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirement. The Government will not pay for information submitted. This will be the only notice of the Government's intent to award to one source to satisfy this emergency requirement. Written comments or questions regarding this notice must be received by the Contracting Officer by email at james.justus2@va.gov no later than 0800CST, September 17, 2015.
