Description

Solicitation VA119-15-R-0362 is hereby amended to incorporate the following questions and answers: Question 1) On Attachment 4 SOW Section 6: Please provide specifics on the overall system architecture. Will this be a hub-spoke network infrastructure where there is a central server where the other sites connect to via VLAN or a fragmented infrastructure, where each site is provided an independent server and only connected to the Medical center/ Associated CBOC VLAN? Or if other, please clarify. Answer 1) Yes, we are seeking a central server to serve all of the medical facilities and CBOCs listed in the SOW. Each device will need to be able to connect via the network. Question 2) Please define the beginning point of the hardware required and installation start point. That is, is the vendor responsible for providing racks and installing racks, UPS, server installation etc.? Please provide clarity on the scope of what hardware and installation is provided by customer, as it varies based on the specific installation. Answer 2) Offerors will be responsible for providing the physical server installation. The server room has racks and a UPS already in place. The deadline for submitting questions is 9/16/2015 at 4:00 PM EST.
