- Redacted JET Contract Extension J&A Under the authority implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii)(B), required by FAR 6.303-2(b)(4). Award to any other source would result in unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency's requirements. In accordance with FAR 6.305(a) the agency shall make publicly available the justification required by 6.303-1 as required by 10 U.S.C. 2304(1) and 41 U.S.C. 3304(f). Except for the circumstances in paragraphs (b) and (c) of this section, the justification shall be made publicly available within 14 days after contract award. The award of JET Contract Extension occurred on 9 September 2015 and the public release of the redacted Justification and Approval (J&A), 11 September 2015, is within the specified parameters. This notice neither constitutes a Request for Proposal (RFP) nor an Invitation for Bid (IFB), nor does it restrict the Government in any way to an ultimate acquisition approach. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL, AND IS NOT TO BE CONSTRUED AS A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT. An AFLCMC Ombudsman has been appointed to consider and facilitate the resolution of concerns from offers, potential offers, and others for this acquisition. Before consulting the Ombudsman concerned parties should first address their concerns, issues, disagreements, and/or recommendation to the Contracting Officer for resolution. In addition, AFFARS 5352.201-9101, Ombudsman, will be included in this acquisition's contract.
