Description

1.0Statement of Work 1.1Boston VA Healthcare system has several hundred patients at home being treated with CPAP and BIPAP for obstructive and central sleep apnea. Patients are admitted for several issues throughout the year and Boston VA must be able to supply therapy for these patients needs. Our current CPAP and BIPAP machines will no longer be supported by the manufacturer. 2.0Scope 2.1The vendor shall provide an integrated, single unit, designed to administer all therapeutic CPAP/BIPAP modes. The unit will be user friendly and able to deliver all traditional modes as well as ASV. 2.2Vendor will be responsible for all initial training and in-servicing of the units to the respiratory care staff. The vendor will also provide additional training as needed by the facility at no cost. 2.3CPAP/BIPAP via the Lumis may be administered anywhere in the Boston VA Healthcare System facility 3.0 Performance Requirements 3.1The vendor will deliver the equipment in a timely manner and assure that all are complete and functioning correctly.
