Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Acquisition Operations, Technology Acquisition Center (TAC), located at 23 Christopher Way, Eatontown NJ, 07724 intends to enter into a contract on a basis of other than full and open competition for the Office of Information Technology (OIT). The TAC intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed price (FFP) contract to ESI Services, LLC, P.O. Box 15888, Tallahassee, FL 32317 for software maintenance support. This action consists of software upgrades and updates to include major releases, point releases, service releases and security releases of applicable software on a quarterly basis, and/or within 48 hours in cases in which a high risk vulnerability fix becomes available. The Statutory Authority for this effort falls under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) part 6.302-1 entitled, "Only Once Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will satisfy Agency Requirements." The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 541519 and size standard is 150 employees. The estimated date of award for this action is October 01, 2015.
