- J & A For Other Than Full and Open Competition The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers- Vicksburg District, in accordance with Federal Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, intends to award a sole source purchase order to G-TEC Equipment Services, LLC, 4122 Longfellow Drive, Plant City, FL for the installation and commissioning of velocity density meter for Dredge Jadwin under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. A copy of the Justification and Approval for Other Than Full and Open Competition is attached. G-TEC Equipment Services, LLC is solely responsible under active warranty and licensed by the NRC (Nuclear Regulatory Commission) for installation and commissioning of the velocity density meter for the Dredge JADWIN which was purchased from Spirax Sarco. Therefore this highly limits the available personnel to complete this job. We will need their licensed expertise to handle making sure all of the existing and new equipment operate together and their expertise of the overall functionality will ensure expedited support and troubleshooting should problems arise in the installation and commissioning. This is not a Request for Quote (RFQ) and no solicitation is available for this procurement. Nevertheless, any firm or individual that believes it is capable of meeting the Vicksburg District's requirements described herein may submit a capabilities statement; which, if received within five (5) calendar days of the date of this announcement, will be considered. Responses to this posting must be submitted via e-mail, no phone calls will be accepted. A determination not to compete the described purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Federal Government.
