- Description
- The US Army Corp of Engineers, Portland District, CENWP-CT-S, 333 SW 1st Avenue, Portland Oregon 97204 intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for mowing services needed at the Willamette Valley Project (WVP) in Western Oregon. Areas requiring this service include project office areas, campgrounds, and parks located at and around Dexter Dam, Dorena, Fern Ridge, Foster Dam, Green Peter Dam and Lookout Point. The Contractor shall provide grass cutting/mowing and trimming/edging services in accordance with the draft performance work statement (PWS) and the grounds maintenance site map, which are attached to this notice. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform targeted grounds maintenance at the WVP. This solicitation will be unrestricted under NAICS 561730 with a size standard of 500 employees. The Government anticipates awarding One (1) Firm-Fixed Price - Services contract for a Base Period and Two (2) One Year Option Periods. The Period of Performance is anticipated to be: Base Year: 01 February 2016 through 31 January 2017 Option Year 1: 01 February 2017 through 31 January 2018 Option Year 2: 01 February 2018 through 31 January 2019 A draft Performance Work Statement and site maps were posted with the sources sought notice on 24 July 2015 under solicitation number W9127N-15-Q-0047. Tentatively there will be a scheduled two-day site visit in mid September. Details will be announced at a later date. Attendance is not a requirement to submit a quote. An RFQ will follow this announcement on or about 24 August 2015.
