- The purpose of this Special Notice is to inform interested parties that the Government will have an Industry Day - Pre Solicitation Conference 29-30 September 2015 in Orlando, Florida for the Aviation Combined Arms Tactical Trainer (AVCATT) Helmet Mounted Display (HMD) System Replacement effort. The purpose of this Industry Day - Pre Solicitation Conference is to allow interested parties to view and understand the AVCATT Trailer/Suite. Each offeror will have 30 minutes to attempt to connect, test, and adjust their HMD to a Synthetic Engineering Environment Manned Module on 29 September. Potential offerors will have the opportunity to participate with Government representatives in a 30 minute One-on-One Question and Answer session on 30 September. Each company is permitted to bring a maximum of 3 people to the Industry day. No Foreign National Representatives will be able to participate in the Industry day. Please submit the name(s), email address (es), and phone number(s) of the representatives who will attend this event no later than 12pm EST on 21 September. Submit all information to the Contract Specialist (contact information below) including the resolution output that the potential Offeror desires for the HMD. A draft solicitation will be posted the week of 14-18 September 2015.
