- Solicitation The work will consist of grinding 392 stumps, removing the woodchips and debris, backfilling the holes with topsoil and seeding the affected areas. All work will be completed within the boundaries of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' Cross Lake Recreation Area, located in Crosslake, MN. The project site is located at 35507 County Road 66, Crosslake, MN 56442. The Cross Lake Recreation Area has a highly visited campground and day use areas and is located within a heavily wooded area. The tight workspace within this wooded area should be taken into consideration when choosing what type of equipment will be able to be used to perform the stump grinding. Potential bidders are recommended to perform a site visit. All work shall be completed by 20 May 2016. This solicitation is set-aside for small businesses under NAICS 561730 which has a size standard of $7.5 million.
