- Description of Services/Work Southeast Regional Maintenance Center (SERMC) requires Haystack Gold (HG58) logistics support service/subscription via the Internet with updating service. This product service/subscription allows multiple concurrent users to electronically access and research a combined database of over 45 separate core and premier supplemental logistics databases. Haystack incorporates and cross references these databases into a single online search engme tool. Databases are directly linked together to provide single-source parts and logistics support information. This product service/subscription provides Internet access to the following core databases: Federal Logistics Information System (FLIS)- formerly Master Cross Reference List (MCRL) 1, 2, and 3 and ML-C), Federal Item Name Directory (H6), Federal Supply Classifications (H2), Technical Characteristics Cross-References, Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) List (H4/H8), Central Contractor Registry (CCR), Dun and Bradstreet (D and B), CatalogXpress Service Information, Cross-References, Major Organizational Entity (MOE) Rules, Section K Data (Obsolete NSNs), Historical North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Stock Numbers, Product Item Descriptions (PID), Technical and Manufacturer Drawings and Documentation, and Department of Defense Interchangeable and Substitutable (I and S) Fi les. As opposed to their rivals, stock numbers in IHS Globals Haystack have visible procurement activity in both DOD E-Mall and GSA Advantage which enables logisticians the ability to quickly and expeditiously order material for ships in a CNO availability.
