Description

AIR COMPRESSORS & VACUUM PUMPS PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE & REPAIR SERVICE, VAMC, PROVIDENCE, RI The contractor shall provide all equipment, labor, materials, to include tools, parts, transportation, supervision, permits and disposal necessary to perform required preventive maintenance and repair for air compressors and vacuum pumps at the VA Medical Center at 830 Chalkstone Avenue, Providence, RI 02908. This will be for a base year, with four (4) one year options renewable at the discretion of the VA. PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE The contractor shall provide quarterly preventive maintenance to twenty two (22) critical air compressors and vacuum pumps and semi-annual preventive maintenance to sixteen (16) non -critical air compressors and vacuum pumps. Emergencies, Repair and Replacement Work The contractor will be required to provide 24/7 response to emergency air compressor and vacuum system problems. Response time will be within a 2 hour time frame. The contractor will provide an hourly rate for emergency call-in and routine call-in services.
