- Description
- UT-Battelle, LLC, acting under its Prime Contract No. DE-AC05-00OR22725 with the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) for the management and operation of the Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL), is seeking commercialization partners for its Computed Structure Clustering technology. Existing methods for clustering software samples based on structure rely on the found structure of the sample; the organization of basic blocks, the kind of instructions, etc. This approach, used with ORNL’s Hyperion system (a static analysis system for compiled software) uses the computed (discovered) structured control flow of the program to perform clustering, and is thus robust against many forms of polymorphism, code relocation, etc. More information can be found at this ORNL Technology Transfer website License applications will be evaluated based on prospective partners' ability and commitment to successfully commercialize the technology, with a preference for United States-based businesses and small businesses.
