- SOLICITATION W9127Q-15-T-0035: WATER/ABRASIVE BLASTING SYSTEM This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation number 0010737762 is issued as a Request for quote. The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-84. This solicitation is total small business set aside. NAICS is 333999. Small Business Standard is 500 employees. CLIN 0001: WATER/ABRASIVE BLASTING SYSTEM, 1 EA. Water/Abrasive Blaster shall be Electric Motor Driven, Variable Speed, Water Blasting to 40K PSI; rated at 3.0 GPM @ 40,000 PSI. Other qualities include: • Pump - high pressure triplex plunger pump, hardened stainless steel to minimize wear & corrosion of critical components, metal in-line disc valves to withstand high pressure and provide max volume output, easily removable cylinders and heads. • Variable Speed Drive - from 5,000 to 40,000 PSI for various applications • System Controls - color touch screen operator interface for full instrumentation of the • system., digital gages for high-pressure, filter differential, air supply, and water level, electronic transducers, fault indicators, and Internet diagnostic/update capable. • Electric Motor - 75 hp, severe duty, high efficiency motor; 460/575 volt, 84.5 FLA, 60 hertz, 3 phase, motor starts and runs to set pressure only while trigger is actuated. • Utilities - Water: 4GPM @ 30 PSI; Air: 30 CFM @ 100 PSI • Rotary Blast Gun - 40,000 PSI operating pressure, 4 GPM rated flow, 20 CFM @ 90 PSI required air, 2700 RPM rotation, dual trigger, adjustable handle, rotating spray head w/3/8-24 jeweled nozzles, 16 foot hose length. OPTIONS TO BE INCLUDED IF NOT AVAILABLE WITH BASE UNIT: CLIN 0002: MEDIA SKID/ABRASIVE INJECTION SYSTEM, 1 EA. System shall be self contained and compatible with the above described water blaster and shall include ability to inject abrasive media into the water stream. CLIN 0003: REPAIR KIT FOR BLASTER, 1 EA. - Repair kit shall be securely stored in rigid, lockable case with foam or like inserts and dividers, clearly marked. Repair kit shall contain spare parts for UHP pump & accessory guns and tools required for maintenance and repair of the pump and guns. CLIN 0004: 50' COMBINATION HOSE ASSEMBLY, 1 EA. Blast Hose, Air Hose, and control Cord: • 50 foot HP Water Blast Hose w/reinforced abrasion covering, burst pressure shall be no less than 101,500 PSI • Compressed Air Hose shall be ½" air line rated @ 300 PSI w/quick disconnect • Control Cord shall be 16/3 insulated w/twist lock plug ends CLIN 0005: 50' MEDIA/ABRASIVE HOSE ASSEMBLY, 1 EA. 50 foot ½" x 2ply blast hose with 150 PSI pressure rating; compatible with various abrasive media types and grades CLIN 0006: UHP SAFETY SUIT, 1 EA. Safety suit shall provide penetration protection while Blasting System is in use. Size LARGE CLIN 0007: CLIMATE CONTROL VEST, 1 EA. Vest shall warm/cool incoming air between 30 & 40 degrees through use of climate tube. Climate tube is belt mounted and adjustable valve. CLIN 0008: RUST PREVENTOR, 1 EA. Product additive to prevent flash rusting, remove chlorides, remove grease, and other salts/ contaminants. Product shall be non-toxic, phosphate and acif free, non-flammable, water soluble and leave no residue. CLIN 0009: DELIVERY/SHIPPING, 1 EA. - Delivery shall be made to 3152 James Biddy Road, BLDG S-213; Camp McCain, MS 38901-8973 • Must be brand name or equal IAW FAR 52.211-6, BRAND NAME OR EQUAL. If quoting "equal", proof of saliency is required with quote. Salience would be quality, technical capability, warranty, past performance, and compatibility. Product must be like or similar in nature to AquaMiser E-75VII Ultra Boss Water/Abrasive Blaster and related accessories, in capability and quality. Qualities stated are minimum standards acceptable. • All above mentioned products must work together as directed by manufacturer of the blasting syatem. • Warranty information must be specified in quote, both parts and labor (if applicable). • Include all applicable fees, including delivery (prepay & add is not acceptable) • Define estimated delivery time.
