Description

STATEMENT OF REQUIREMENT The Malcom Randall VA Medical Center in Gainesville, FL has a requirement for 50 Digital Handheld Radios. These radios are required for Emergency Management and will be placed throughout the Medical Center for use during emergencies and exercises. The Small Business Administration (SBA) has provided an Individual Waiver to the Non-Manufacturer Rule for this acquisition. This allows for award to a small business that does not manufacture the item(s) offered, in which case the award information will be furnished to the SBA. The Motorola XPR7550 has been identified as meeting this requirement.
