Description

This is a PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE - The Minneapolis VA Health Care System (MVAHCS) requires on-site 0.5 Full Time Equivalent (FTE) Board certified / Board Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon with fellowship training and subspecialty expertise in foot and ankle surgery to provide orthopedic clinic and surgery services for beneficiaries of the MVAHCS. The NAICS code assigned to this procurement will be 621111 with a size standard of $11.0 Million. It is anticipated that the solicitation number will be VA263-15-R-0620. The solicitation is set aside for small business. Offerors will be evaluated on technical ability, past performance, Veterans Preference, and price. Procurement is being made in accordance with FAR Parts 12 Commercial Item and 15 Negotiated Contracts. The solicitation will contain requirements for a 12-month base year with four (4) 12-month options to renew. Service are anticipated to begin July 1, 2016 through June 30, 2017 for the Base Year. The solicitation is scheduled to be issued on or about September 30, 2015 and will be issued via FedBizOpps Electronic Posting System at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Once the solicitation has been posted, questions regarding this solicitation must be in writing and may be sent via email to: scott.hendrix@va.gov. Proposals must be submitted in writing to the issuing office, be in accordance with the preparation instructions outlined in the solicitation, and be timely.
