Description

CATERPILLAR Consumable Parts List The United States Coast Guard (USCG) Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC), Long Range Enforcer Product Line (LREPL) will utilize other than full and open competition to award a contract for the purchase of CATERPILLAR Consumable Parts for the United States Coast Guard Cutter ALEX HALEY 3516 Engines. The list of parts is included as an attachment to this notice. These items will be enough for three, large engine projects on the ALEX HALEY. Parts must come from an authorized CATERPILAR dealer and are required to be certified CATERPILLAR parts. No other items will be accepted. The only known source that is an authorized CATERPILLAR dealer closest to Kodiak, Alaska, the ALEX HALEY's home port, is NC Machinery Co. Therefore, the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only this company under the authority of 6.302.1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Interested parties are invited to submit responses to this notice in writing before the response date deadline. Responses must include sufficient information to demonstrate the acceptability of the offered parts. All responses received within the response date will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Inquiries/information received after the established deadline shall not be considered for this acquisition. The submission of this data for review shall not impede award of this contract. The Government does not intend to pay for information solicited. For information regarding this acquisition contact the Contracting Official listed herein.
