Description

This is a presolicitation notice synopsizing the upcoming release of a solicitation-NO RESPONSE TO THIS SYNOPSIS IS REQUIRED. Veterans Health Affairs, Network Contracting Office 4 will be posting a solicitation on this website for the provision of Stat Coagulation Lab Testing Services for the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System. This acquisition will be procured using FAR Part 13 procedures. The applicable NAICS code is 621511, Medical Laboratories. The solicitation will be open to all business sizes. The intended contract type is a fixed price, single-award, 5-year indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity contract. Technical requirements: the lab testing facility must have CLIA & other required licenses and certifications for operating the lab testing facility, CAP accreditation. The lab testing facility will be required to report the results within 8 hours of specimen shipment and provide interpretation when clinically indicted; so, it must be able to receive samples and provide test results 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Scope of Work: the lab testing facility will be required to provide reference testing services for stat coagulation testing such as heparin induced platelet antibody, heparin PF4 platelet antibody, platelet aggregation panel with multiple agonists, and heparin induced platelet antibody and heparin PF4 platelet antibody panel.
