- The US Army Contracting Command-Redstone proposes to issue solicitation number, W31P4Q-14-R-0056. The proposed solicitation issue date is on or about 5 January 2016 with a closing date of 4 February 2016. The proposed action is for a follow-on Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee contract for the acquisition of engineering services for the Tube-Launched Optically-Tracked Wire-less (TOW) 2 Subsystem, (T2SS) weapon system and ancillary equipment consisting of technical support services. The requirement is for a base year in FY 2017 with 4 additional years of options in FY 2018 through FY 2021 which will be exercised incrementally. These engineering services are for refinement and maintenance of all Bradley Fighting Vehicle System (BFVS) T2SS and associated equipment. The anticipated efforts will support the T2SS, its components, and support equipment. The anticipated effort will provide engineering services for reliability and maintenance of the T2SS including logistics management capability, configuration management, product assurance support, special engineering studies, system engineering, failure analysis, redesigns due to obsolescence, test evaluation material for repairs, Field Service Representative (FSR) support, Logistics Support, Fielding, contractor repairs and equipment publications. This notice of intent is not a request for additional competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty five days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to further compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
