- SAQMMA15R0496 SAQMMA15R0496- A001 signed SF30 Questions and Answers Attachment X RFP Number: SAQMMA15R0496 replaces previous RFP number SAQMMA15R0304. The Department of State intends to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) f or packing/crating and storage services for the Department of State, U.S. Despatch Agency-Seattle, WA. The required services will include but are not limited to: non-personal services for providing receipt, inspection, inventorying, consolidation, export packing, temporary storage, and delivery to pier and related services connected with the forwarding of U.S. Government-owned furniture, furnishings, commissary items, supplies, personally owned and government owned vehicles, and equipment required by the Department of State for its Foreign Service Posts, and forwarding /receiving household effects (HHE) belonging to U.S. Government employees. Unless otherwise specified, all Contractor deliveries are (FAS) carrier Seattle/Tacoma, Washington Commercial Zones. For purposes of this contract, the Contractor's place of performance must be within a twenty - (20) mile commute of the U.S. Despatch Agency office in Seattle, Washington: located at 2800 S. 192 Street, Seattle, WA 98188. This acquisition will be advertised as a 100% small business set aside. The National American Individual Classification Standard (NAICS) code for this procurement is 493110. The RFP will require the submission of a technical proposal (to include past performance) and a price proposal. Evaluation and award will be on a lowest priced technically acceptable basis (LPTA). The solicitation will be issued via FEDBIZOPPS. NO PAPER COPIES will be mailed. Placement of a firm fixed priced (FFP) Indefinite Delivery /Indefinite Quantity contract for a one-year base period, plus four (4) one-year options is anticipated. In the event a pre-proposal conference is scheduled the solicitation will contain firm information regarding the time/date/location of the conference. THIS PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE IS FOR NOTIFICATION PURPOSES ONLY. DO NOT SUBMIT ANY INFORMATION IN RESPONSE TO THIS PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE. OFFICIAL QUESTIONS WILL BE TAKEN AFTER THE SOLICITIAION HAS BEEN POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS. ALL PROSPECTIVE CONTRACTORS MUST BE REGISTERED IN THE SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT (SAM) IN ORDER TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR AWARD. Solicitation documents are attached. Response Date is 12:00pm Eastern Standard Time September 29, 2015. Questions regarding the solicitation are due by close of business September 10, 2015. Amendment A001 and Questions and Answers are provided.
