- This Notice of Intent is not a solicitation. Information submitted in response to this notice will be used solely to determine competitive procedures to be used for future acquisitions of these services. Washington Headquarters Services, Acquisition Directorate (WHS/AD), on behalf of Joint Information Technology Service Provider-Pentagon (JITSPP), intends to purchase, on a sole source basis, a six-month extension of backup tape storage services from First Federal Corporation via contract HQ0034-13-C-0137, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii) and contract clause FAR 52.212-4(c) Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items. This acquisition for an extension of services is intended to meet JITSPP's requirement for offsite backup tape storage for six months until such time as a new contract may be solicited and awarded for these services. The NAICS code for this requirement is 561499 - All Other Business Support Services, with a size standard of $15.0 million.
