- Description
- The 19th Contracting Squadron at Little Rock AFB intends to award a one year, and four (4) one-year options, sole-source contract To CenturyLink to install DSL modems and provide commercial high speed internet service with static IP addresses to three (3) electronic marquee displays across Little Rock AFB, Arkansas. CenturyLink will also provide one DSL modem to the 19 AW/PA office and provide high speed internet service with a dynamic IP address through a commercial phone line. CenturyLink already has telephone lines installed to all three (3) electronic marquee display locations. Both CenturyLink and SuddenLink were contacted, which resulted in the understanding that CenturyLink was the only company that can provide connectivity for DSL to all three marquees. No other telephone/DSL companies service the base. NAICS Code: 517110; Wired Telecommunications Carriers (Size Standard 1500 employees) This proposed procurement is for services for which the government intends to solicit and award with only one source in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(b)(1)(i), Only One Responsible Source and no Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability statement, proposal, or quotation to respond to this requirement which shall be considered by the government no later than September 18, 2015, 4:30 p.m. CST. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
