- The Fleet Logistics Center, Contracting Department, Norfolk, VA intends to negotiate an unrestricted Firm-Fixed Priced contract for the delivery of two (2) Pitney Bowe VANTAGE inbound/outbound mail sorters to Consolidated Mail Facilities (CMF) Washington DC and Norfolk VA This requirement will be issued as an unrestricted award in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 and FAR 13.501. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 333318 and the size standard is 1,000 employees. This procurement will be solicited as a negotiated procurement. NO SOLICITATION EXISTS AT THIS TIME. A complete RFP package will available on or about 21-September-2015 by downloading the documents at the GSA eBuy Website as follows: http://www.ebuy.gsa.gov/. Potential contractors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the above site; this office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting an offer, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal Agency. The Contracting Officer reserves the right to conduct verbal or written discussions with respect to other than price with the offerors at anytime prior to award. The prospective awardees must be registered in the SAM database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make a contractor ineligible for award. Contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling-1-866-606-8220 or via the Internet at http://www.sam.gov/ the offerors at anytime prior to award.
