- The Defense Logistics Agency, DLA Maritime Norfolk, Norfolk Naval Shipyard Contracting Division, intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed Price contract to procure 1 EACH GigaStor network packet capture device, to be shipped to the Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334111 ( Electronic Computer Manufacturing ). This procurement will be sole source to Viavi, Inc. (formerly JDS Uniphase) products. The contract line items (CLINs) are as follows: CLIN 0001: GIGASTOR NETWORK, 1 EACH GIGASTOR NETWORK PACKET CAPTURE DEVICE WITH SOFTWARE MAINTENANCE. THIS DEVICE WILL ALLOW US TO "DVR" ALL PACKETS ENTERING AND LEAVING OUR NETWORK, TO VIEW ANY NETWORK RELATED PROLEMS AT A LATER DATE AS IF THEY WERE HAPPENING IN REAL TIME. SOFTWARE IS OBSERVER EXPERT CONSOLE V17. P/N: GIGASTOR-EX 288T The solicitation number will be SPMYM1-15-Q-0110. The solicitation is expected to be posted on 17 September 2015 and close on 22 September 2015. Any questions must be written and sent by email to christopher.johns@dla.mil or by fax to 757-396-8017. Potential offerors are hereby notified that the solicitation and any subsequent amendments will only be available by downloading the documents at either www.neco.navy.mil or www.fedbizopps.gov, as this office no longer issues hard-copy solicitations. By submitting a proposal, the vendor will be self-certifying that neither it nor its principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal agency.
