- The Defense Logistics Agency, DLA Maritime Norfolk of Norfolk Naval Shipyard Contracting Office, intends to negotiate a F ixed-Price, Requirements-type contract in accordance with FAR Subpart 16.503 that includes a base year with four, one year option periods to procure rain suits with a jacket and bib overalls in various sizes to be used within Shop Stores at Norfolk Naval Shipyard. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 315990 (Apparel Accessories and Other Apparel Manufacturing). The procurement will be 100% Set-Aside for small business. The contract line items with ordering data are as follows: 0001: RAIN SUIT, JACKET AND BIB OVERALL, BASE YEAR REQUIREMENT ORDERING DATA: A. BRAND NAME OR EQUAL TO HARRIS MANUFACTURING STYLE ASE 1500. EQUALS WILL NEED TO BE APPROVED PRIOR TO PURCHASE B. DOUBLED COATED, PVC/NYLON SUIT, FLAME RETARDANT JACKET WITH STORM FLY FRONT; BIB OVERALL WITH ADJUSTABLE SUSPENDERS AND SNAP FLY FRONT, SHIPPED IN ONE PACKAGE. C. SIZE: X-LARGE, D. COLOR: BLACK E. ADMINISTRATIVE DATA NOTE: SPECIAL ORDERING AND DELIVERY PROCESS NOTICE The method for placing orders under this requirement is via delivery order. Delivery Orders will be placed as follows: Line Item: 0001: Rain suit X Large approximately monthly with a requested delivery of 60 days or less though out the period of performance. 0002 Rain suit Medium approximately every 2 months with a requested delivery of 60 days or less though out the period of performance. 0003 Rain suit Medium approximately every 2 months with a requested delivery of 60 days or less though out the period of performance This procurement will be processed in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 16.503 - Requirements Contracts and FAR Subpart 13.5 - Test Program for Certain Commercial Items The solicitation number is SPMYM1-15-Q-0121 and the solicitation is expected to be posted on or around 09 September 2015 and close 16 September 2015.
