Description
PRON: AX5T6182AX. The Government proposes to acquire on a five-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract a minimum quantity of 750 each up to 3750 each quantity maximum of a Blade Set, Turbine, A, NSN: 2840-01-187-8727, Part Number: 2-100-026-09 applicable to the BL Chinook Helicopter System. Production Lead Time with First Article Testing is 750 each, 246 Days After Receipt of Order (DARO) with deliveries to New Cumberland, PA 17070-5002. Production Lead Time without First Article Testing is 750 each, 164 Days After Receipt of Order (DARO) with deliveries to New Cumberland, PA 17070-5002. Forecasted quantities are: 1st Year, 750 each, 2nd Year, 750 each, 3rd Year, 750 each, 4th Year, 750 each, and 5th Year, 750 each. This item is restricted to Honeywell International, Cage Code, 99193. This data needed to acquire this part competitively is not physically available, it cannot be obtained economically, nor is it possible to draft adequate specifications or any other adequate, economical description of the material for a competitive solicitation. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website http://amcomdmz.redstone.army.mil/casl_cmo/casl_cmo_home and looking under Standardized Aviation and Missile Source Approval Request (SAMSAR). All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies.
